Renovations at Odin's Reach Farm

In our first spring at Odin's Reach we experienced several termite swarms into our kitchen. Unfortunately, our home inspection and termite inspection did not pick up on any termite damage.

 

We decided to jump into renovating the outdated kitchen and repairing the damage. We completed the demolition ourselves and then worked with our contractor, Vaughn's Home Improvement, to complete the update.

Along the way we found that our entire foundation needed to be replaced and reinforced. We also realized that Yggdrasil had massive roots going under our foundation that needed to be protected. We consulted Bartlett Tree Expertsfor their assistance in problem solving how to to keep our beautiful tree alive and well. After 3 long months, we could not be happier with the end results of our kitchen renovation, and our homestead feels complete.
